Last week we successfully purchased the site from its previous owners! As previously stated, we anticipate it will take 6 - 9 months to finalize designs and obtain the required city permits, then 1 - 1.5 years of renovation work before we open doors.
As always with rehabilitation projects, particularly those of a historic nature like this one, timelines are a moving target, but we will post updates to this blog with any notable changes.
Danni Productions will be filming in the nun's quarters for one day on Tuesday 2/10. They will be staging on Elysian Fields and blocking off street parking right in front of the church and on the side at Mandeville St. If you have any queries or complaints, contact location manager Evan Eastham at (561) 703-0243.

ReplyDeleteSo whats happened to the lights on the corner? It been really dark since the sale has been made public!
ReplyDeleteRobert, which corner are you talking about, and which lights? I wasn't aware of the problem, but if you want to email me at stpeterandpaulfeedback@gmail.com, I'm happy to do what I can to fix it. Nathalie
ReplyDeleteThe flood lights at the corner 0f Marigny and Burgundy. They worked durng Tit'Rex parade but were gone the next day.
ReplyDeleteRobert, it turns out those lights are operated by the city. I just called 311 and reported the outage. The case is now in their system and will allegedly take 4-6 weeks to fix. The case number is 101000364482 in case you want to ask about it yourself, but I will be following up on it too. Thanks for bringing the problem to my attention.
